Campaign 2019

Did Big B Just Subtly Snub PM Modi on his “70 Saal Mein Kyu Hua” Rehetoric?

When the democracy seems to be in danger, when the very idea of India is at the risk of being wiped out those who love this nation, the true patriot come forward and speak up for the truth.

Veteran actor Sh Amitabh Bacchan seems to have done exactly that.

In a tweet made this morning Big B tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and submitted some important aspects of the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2019.

  1. Firstly, Big B mentioned the sheer volume of voters who’d be voting in the world’s greatest festival of democracy. “900 million voters, 543 winners. Every vote is for supremacy of Constitution.
  2. Secondly, he emphasized that this election is about Constitution which is “Holy book of democracy.”
  3. Lastly, he emphasized that large number of the voters are young and below the age of 35 so what does it mean? “About 600 million voters are less than 35 yrs. Young ask questions about tomorrow not yesterday ! VOTE FOR TOMORROW,” Sh Bacchan wrote.

We wonder whether by urging the Prime Minister to look ahead to the future, and not repeatedly ask questions of the past, did Sh Bacchan try to subtly convey to the PM that the rhetoric question, “70 Saal mein kya hua” insinuating India was in a dark hole before Modi came to pwoer, is not like to cut ice with the youth.

Sh Bacchan also indirectly urged the youth to stop looking back and think of the future, and chose their leader wisely, with focus on future, not the past.

We applaud Sh Bacchan for such a positive message, and hope the youth of the nation would make a wise choice.
